A great hospital with hardly any death rate was born. The chief during these times was the impressive chief Richard Webber. Four years founding the new hospital he recruited two best surgeons around the world. Derek Shepherd the neurosurgeon from New York and Connie Richards the cardiosurgeron from West Wales. With the high best medince and high advanced technology and equipment, people all over the UK came to have treatment in Cardiff Haven Hospital. Richard was proud of his work and even started to recruit the first ever interns. Here is where the hospital started to have they problems.

Five years have passed and the death rates were beginning to rise in a very alarming rate. The hospital was hitting the finical red line market showing some losses more than profits. Face with a option of premantely closing the hospital, Richard was force to begin to start charging patients for treatments. Derek and a new intern Meredith didn’t like this and secretly opened a NHS clinic for patients who can’t afford they treatment. This was then Derek would put his name for the chief position when it comes available. With the money coming in from the patients the hospital survived and began to raise the green mark showing profits. Richard thought it was time for more interns, as the hospital had a future and great poteinal still. This was another year which nearly cost the hospital its freedom for the low income patients. Richard began to drink aggressively and being a great friend Derek made him leave the hospital and was made chief of surgery for Cardiff Haven Hospital.

Now Derek is in charge of the hospital. Everything began to run smoothly yet again. Even though under his nose there is a nazi gang forming against him as they hated for what he done to Richard. Two people return into his life this year which he wasn’t really fond of. His ex wife Addison and his once best friend Mark Sloan. Another thing which is bothering him is the fact he is fallen for one of his residents of the hospital. Derek also beginning to see that being chief isn’t the ride in the park as it was very stressful. The figures were dropping low dangerously to the loss margin. Also doctors and nurses were beginning to get into trouble and sued, which was applying more trouble on Derek and the hospital. The most alarming is that the bedside manner was dropping while the death rates was rising. Derek is now at the moment feeling he is doing a rubbish job and thinking of quitting the job.
Will Derek quit? Will Addison get her claws back to Derek? Will Mark build his friendship back and stop Derek for quitting? Will the hospital reputation be saved?
